During their stay in India, the Nepalese cricketers will engage in an intensive two-week training camp at the prestigious National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. This training is designed to hone their skills and prepare them for the challenges ahead. Following the series in India, the team is set to fly to Canada, where they will compete in the second CWC League 2 series.

The Canada leg of the CWC League 2 will see Nepal facing off against Canada and Oman in September. This comes after a mixed performance earlier this year, where Nepal hosted a home tri-series against Namibia and the Netherlands in February, securing only one win out of four matches.

Notably, key players Rohit Paudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sandeep Lamichhane are currently in Canada, having participated in the GT20 League. Airee and Paudel are also slated to compete in the MAX60 Caribbean Cricket League, starting August 18, before rejoining the national team.

Nepal’s preliminary squad includes Rohit Paudel (Captain), Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Sompal Kami, Lalit Rajbanshi, Surya Tamang, Dev Khanal, Aarif Sheikh, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airee, Anil Sah, Bhim Sharki, Kushal Malla, Aakash Chand, Rijan Dhakal, Sundeep Jora, Arjun Saud, Kamal Singh Airee, Sagar Dhakal, Basir Ahamad, and Sandeep Lamichhane.
